My Composition
For all my musician friends that say "I hate math. That's why I went into music because there is no math." I'm sorry to say, but music IS math. I made a video to prove to you that math is pretty sounding and fun!
I started with a loop that followed my voice pattern. I then added a loop three lines below that (or for my music friends, a third below) so create harmony. Throughout my composition, I had single notes, multiple lines, music playback, and contrasting melodies. This made for a great song and it was all dictated on graph paper!
Remember, math can sound great!

Mobius Strip Music Box
Being an avid Harry Potter fan, I created a musical septet entitled "HP Septet". There are seven movements, with seven parts, based on the seven books of Harry Potter. Being a mathmusician, my work tends to cross over. When I was working with Mobius strips, (a single strip of paper with a twist in it, so it only has one side!) I decided to put my HP Septet on a Mobius strip and play it on a music box. This was especially exciting because being a Mobius strip only has one side, the paper would be up-side down, and my theme would be inverted. Below is a link to me playing my Mobius music box!
