I've always been intrigued by the formation of a hexagon inside of a cube. I had known it was somewhat possible, so one day I attempted it with an apple. First, I sliced the apple into a cube. Next, I began to cut away at the apple, but instead of cutting it into squares, I only cut at one angle; this left me a triangle. As I continued to cut away at the same angle, I eventually came upon more vertices, which changed the number of sides of the shapes I was creating. The apple slices eventually transformed from triangle to hexagon, and in the very middle, I found the perfect hexagon shape. I decided to finish of slicing, and as I continued through the apple, the slices slowly turned into triangles again, until there was nothing left.
