Many say that "the beginning is a very good place to start", so let us begin there. I am the daughter of  mathematician George Hart and Carol Hart. When I was 13, I attended a computational convention with my Dad and was hooked on math from there. I attended Stony Brook College in New York and graduated with a degree in music and surprisingly never took a college math class. I started posting "mathematical doodles" videos on YouTube in 2009 and since have 170,000 subscribers. Currently, I live in the San Francisco Bay Area and work at Kahn Academy as a mathmusician where I supply educational videos. My viewers have stated that they see math as  it relates to the real world instead of the regular statement at any math class: "When am I ever going to use this?". Well, stick with me, and i'll show you how!
